Reschedules and forfeits

Reschedules ( from rules and
regs document)
-
Only regular League games may
be rescheduled.
-
Teams may be permitted to
reschedule games if all of
the following conditions are
met:
-
the non-requesting
team agrees to the
reschedule;
-
the requesting team
pays any required
rescheduling fee;
-
the League schedulers
are able to find an
alternate date, time
and field for the
game;
-
both teams agree to a
date, time and field
from the available
options provided by
the League
schedulers.
-
Any reschedule must take
place within 2 weeks of the
originally scheduled game,
and if it cannot be
rescheduled in this
time-period, the requesting
team must either:
-
play the game as
originally
scheduled; or
-
accept a forfeit of
the game.
- Once a game is rescheduled, it
is considered to be part of the
League’s schedule and may
only be rescheduled in
accordance with this rule,
except that the 2-week deadline
from the original game still
applies.

Failing to play scheduled
game:
-
A team
who fails to appear for a
scheduled game but who gives the
League and the opposing team 48
hours notice will forfeit the
game and pay any referee fees
for the game.
-
A team
who does any of the following
will forfeit the game and must
pay a fine of $50 and pay any
referee fees for the
game,
-
fails
to appear for a
scheduled game without
48 hours notice to the
League and the opposing
team
-
fails
to have the minimum
number of players
dressed and ready within
the time allowable for a
kick-off thereby causing
the cancellation of a
game.​
