the Game
AA and A Games are played on artificial turf
field with 11 players aside.
B games are played on a full sized
grass
Games are full time 45 mins per half.
The regular season runs :
A divisions - May 1st-
July 30th (target end date
assuming all games are playable before
then.)
B divisions -
June 1st (when
grass fields open) until Mid to late
August

Gamesheets
Home team
responsibility:
Print 2 copies of the gamesheet from this
website and bring the gamesheets to the
game.
To print the gamesheets, you must login to
GOALLINE as a team official.
Referee
fees
The MSWSL fees for referees are set by
SNS and a full schedule can be viewed on
their website here: Fee
Schedule.
Home teams are
responsible for referee fees for regular
League games. For all other
games, both
teams are responsible for
paying half the
referee fees. (Please bring cash or cheques
to pay for 1/2 the centre referee fee and
one asst. referee.)
Reporting
scores
Winning team responsibility (or home
team if tie):
1) Ensure that the referee gets the
gamesheet, fills it out legibly, SIGNS
and PRINTS their name(s).
2) Report the score to the League by 5 pm on
the 3rd day after the game by
3) Send the gamesheet to the League by 5 pm
on the 3rd day after the game, by either
- faxing the gamesheet to Pauline
at 876-1803 (number
is on the gamesheet) - PREFERRED
- e-mailing a scanned/photo copy of
the gamesheet to the
registrar at: [email protected]
Please note any errors or discrepancies
so that we can contact the referees if
necessary to clarify.
Games
that must have a
winner
Please remember that in accordance with Rules
13 and 14, all of the following types of
MSWSL games must all be played to a winner:
- Provincial playoff games
- Divisional playoff games
If, at the end of regulation time, a game is
tied, there will be a 10 minute
overtime (2 five minute halves -
substitutions only at the end of the first
overtime half). If at the end of overtime
the game remains tied then FIFA penalty shot
rules will determine the winner.
Relegation
At the end of
playing season, teams will move up and down
as follows:
- the last
place team in the DeWolfe ​Division
will move down to the Ritchie
Division and the first place team in
the Ritchie Division will move up to
the DeWolfe Division.

the
last place team in the Jones
Division will move down to the
DeWolfe Division, and the first
place team in the DeWolfe
Division will move up to the
Jones Division;
For the purpose of the standings
under 13.1, last place teams
that move down under 13.2 will
be ranked above the remaining
teams in the Division they move
to and first place teams that
move up will be ranked below the
remaining teams in the division
they move to.
Playoffs are in
August as well as Provincial
Qualifiers.
Teams not participating in either playoffs
or provincial qualifiers can opt to play in
the Accel Physio Fair play cup which runs
through August and can go into
September.
